CREAMY MASHED POTATOES

Ingredients

  • 10 - 12 Gold Potatoes ( can substitute for other types e.g. Russets for a fluffy texture or Yukon Golds for a rich, creamy mash)
  • 1-2 teaspoons salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup full fat milk (substitute for other types of milks depending on preference or diet e.g. almond, cashew or coconut milk)
  • 2-4 tablespoons of Ghee (JustGhee USA's Original, Nutty or our Infused varieties), melted

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to boil
  2. Cut potatoes in chunks
  3. Add potatoes and let them simmer until tender (approx. 10-15 mins – should be able to pierce with a fork when cooked)
  4. Drain the water and mash the potatoes.
  5. Warm up the milk
  6. Add the Ghee, hot milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy
  7. Serve with your favorite meat or veggies (can add herbs)
  8. Enjoy!
